Yeah I know we’re 8 hours late, but we were out enjoying the festivities and the start of the CFL season ourselves. Here’s hoping you and yours had a great Canada Day and enjoyed the CFL doubleheader last night. Ain’t it about time for some football that counts? Of course it is. I can’t remember a more intriguing season then this one in a long, long time.

Wes is over at Sault Ste. Marie now… en route somewhere elseĀ  this morning I imagine.

Those of you in British Columbia might be interested in this: Saturday, July 4 com down to the parking lot outside TD Canada Trust in Duncan between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. for barbecue in support of Cowichan Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock riders.

We’re two people short of 300 all set to Make a Difference. Join us, please… and our second poker night in Ontario is this Saturday.

It’s cutdown day in the CFL, and I imagine there’s more then a few nervous players out there right this moment. Not to mention a few heartbroken ones. Here though? We’re just ready to give you some more links and great information.

It’s a different kind of football, but Toronto FC wore pink yesterday in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Good for them.
