FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CFL Fans Fight Cancer is a national grassroots group of CFL fans that gather together at their respective team’s games and raise funds for their local cancer charities. Every year at Grey Cup, we come together for our annual “meet and greet” and further our fundraising efforts for the host city’s cancer charity. We are pleased to announce that once again we will be working together with the Never Alone Foundation and the CFL Alumni Association in an effort to continue to grow our event.
This year, as the 104th Grey Cup is being celebrated in Toronto, we will continue to support Wellspring Downtown Toronto facility (formerly Wellspring Odette House and Coach House), as well as the Never Alone Foundation. Our event is set to take place on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 11:00am – 2:00pm at Shoeless Joes restaurant (276 King St. West).
This year our MC is Joe Eppele. He is a retired Toronto Argonaut Offensive Line man. We have tons of prizing for our raffle, a silent auction and 50/50 raffle as well. We will have guest appearances by the Toronto Argonotes, the Saskatchewan Roughrider Pep Band as well as other CFL alumni.
Should you require more information about our event, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We look forward to seeing you on November 26, 2016.
