Don’t forget to visit Wes’ site at http://chasethecure.blogspot.com/

Hello Everyone,

I am proud to say that we did it! With your support encouragement and dedication we have created a message that traveled across this great country. Without all of you this would simply be just a bike ride across Canada. That was not how it was ever planned nor what occurred. We all need to be proud of our accomplishment, together we have made a difference in the fight against cancer coast to coast. I only hope that this ride has instilled the thought in all of us that we all can be difference makers, and if we all work together we can accomplish anything even finding a cure to this terrible disease. So this is congratulations to all of you and a thank you.

I just want to say for you to watch out for the final video (Which I am currently working on) and the final blog!!!! They will be coming up in the next day or so :)

Tomorrow for those in St. John’s We Will ride out as we really feel this ride is truly never over until we find a cure to this disease. I encourage all of you to come to City Hall @ noon to be welcomed by Mayor O’Keefe and Senator Rod Zimmer and from there we will ride out to encourage Canadians to continue to make a difference in the fight against this disease. The more relentless we are against this disease the sooner we will reach the end goal of a cure, the physical ride is almost over, but the fight against cancer continues and lies in all of our hands!

For those in Winnipeg!!! Well there is a event where we will be sharing some stories and raising more funds to benefit the Manitoba aspect of the ride! The details are below and it in all should be a great event :)

“We are happy to announce that Wes and the Chase the Cure Ride are now approaching the final leg of their cross country journey. From challenging highways, inspirational moments, beautiful sunsets, moments of exhaustion and uplifting interaction with cancer patients…

it has been a ride of a lifetime!

Your support has allowed the Chase the Cure Ride to raise awareness and funds to help in the fight against cancer for thousands of Canadians across Canada. You have been an integral “spoke” in the wheels of this ride and we thank you. Please join us as we welcome Wes home and congratulate him on a job well done.
