How Can I Help?
More then anything, we need three things.
1.More volunteers in more cities.
In Ontario and British Columbia things are going really, really well. We’ve raised a lot of money for great places like the Wellspring Odette House, the Wellwood Resource Centre, and Avery’s Fund. What we need now is to spread out more, to grow this thing from coast to coast. Cancer’s invaded every inch of this country and it’s time we take it back. That means we’d love to see events in Edmonton, Regina, and Halifax. Hell, why not Chicoutimi, Flin Flon and Lethbridge? We’re looking for all the help we can get, and we’d love to have you aboard as we raise money for cancer research in your community, in EVERY community. One of our biggest things is keeping money right there in the community it’s raised in. We all know that CancerCare Manitoba, the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute, and so many others across the country need all the help they can get. 2. Spread The Word
Live a little off the beaten track, or don’t quite have the time or ability to contribute the way you wish you could? Just join our Facebook group and visit this site often. You’ll be kept up to date on everything CFLFFC, and we’ll be one step closer to the day cancer is just a bad memory. We can get there. We will get there. And every little step will help.
3. Party.
No, really. We’re here to have fun too, and we’re staging events clear across the country for a reason. Come out to one. Say hi. Have fun, and maybe a beer or two. And together, we’ll raise some good money. That’s all there is to it.
