Haircut In Progress
Shave For the fight!

Take the challenge.

Honour someone special.

Make a difference.

At our 2026 CFL Fans Fight Cancer Year-End Celebration in Calgary, participants will shave their head, beard, or both to raise funds and awareness in the fight against cancer.

Whether you're shaving in memory of a loved one, celebrating a survivor, or simply standing in support of the cause, every participant has a story, and every participant has a story, and every dollar raised helps make a difference.

Charlie Pratt

Charlie is shaving his beard and hair in honour of his Grandpa, Ralph Flett, and in memory of the family and friends we've lost to cancer.

Every donation helps support CFL Fans Fight Cancer 2026 and our charity partner this year, the Alberta Cancer Foundation. Thank you for helping Charlie make a difference in the fight against cancer.

Wally's Grey Cup Challenge!

One donation could change Wally's entire Grey Cup look!

For the past couple years, Wally has raised funds for CFL Fans Fight Cancer through his popular jersey swap challenge. This year, he's taking it to a while new level!

Goal #1 - Raise $500

If Wally reaches $500, he'll shave both his head and beard live during the CFL Fans Fight Cancer Year-End Celebration in Calgary.

Goal #2 - Raise $1,000

If Wally reaches $1,000, the fun really begins!

The highest individual donor will choose:

  1. Which CFL team's jersey Wally wears.

  2. Which CFL team colours he dyes his hair.

  3. His matching nail colour.

Wally will proudly arrive at Grey Cup and the CFLFFC Year-End Celebration wearing the winning team's colours.

Every donation helps support CFL Fans Fight Cancer 2026, with proceeds benefiting this year's charity partner, the Alberta Cancer Foundation. Help Wally reach his goal and decide what he'll look like at Grey Cup!

Jenni Kaine's Challenge!

Jenni Kaine is raising $4,000 in honour of her mom, Sylvia Kaine, a four-time cancer warrior. Her goal represents $1,000 for each of Sylvia's four battles with cancer.

During Grey Cup Weekend, Jenni will be donating her hair to help create wigs for those who need them.

Support Jenn's fundraiser and help make a difference through CFL Fans Fight Cancer.

About CFL fans fight cancer

CFL Fans Fight Cancer (or CFLFFC for short) is a grassroots movement that has supported local cancer charities across Canada since 2006. Each year, we pick a charity in the Grey Cup host city and dedicate the year's funds to them. We raised $22K in Regina, $41K in Hamilton, $75K in Vancouver and $76K in Winnipeg.

Want to help? Email cflfansfightcancer@gmail.com or honestly, just do your own thing and submit funds via our Donate page. Folks have done everything from poker tourneys to dunk tanks to watch parties to head shaving. Be creative, and let us know how we can help!

Our biggest event is a Meet N Greet each Grey Cup Weekend.  However, we've grown into a nationwide grassroots movement with events and donations all year. All are welcome, anywhere, any time!

We are not a registered charity and we have no structure or administrative costs - just a bunch of people raising money to kick cancer's ass.
